Exercises in R

Following the course we had on Monday, I upload here some exercises – that I did send a few weeks ago by email – an some correction. I can also mention a nice article, to scrape or not to scrape: technical and ethical challenges …

The final part of the course, on graphs and regression models will be in May. I will try to upload slides on the regression part as soon as possible.

  1. Is it legal and ethical to scrape data such as insurance data which are publicly available? These are usually not open but are available in several websites.

Also, is it a good idea to use this data for startup purposes?(which I think is implied from the first paragraph)

My doubts are naive and kind of weird because I’m a newbie to Data Science.
